Background

An investment memorandum is a legal document that a company presents to potential investors to explain the objectives, risks, and investment terms surrounding a funding round. This includes financial statements, management biographies, company details, and many more items that help give a detailed view of the business and financial plan going forward.

Brief

We were approached by Perenna to create a bespoke annual report design, template and layout their information memorandum. They needed a sophisticated design that was modern, clear and fitting with their brand.

Process

We first delivered a design proposal showing example spreads and a picture of the overall report design. Providing visuals up front really helps our clients visualise how their finished report will look. We then review the proposal to finalise decisions on the timings, milestones and design. Once the client’s content is ready, we follow what we have agreed; producing an annual report design that is inline with and satisfies our client’s expectations. We do all this in a punctual, professional and friendly manner.

Solution

Given their logo we opted to use circles to frame their company imagery and help with a modern and clean look. We treated the graphs and other information with a light touch taking colours from their palette.
