Background
The Data Science Institute (DSI) is one of the six Global Institutes of Imperial College London, created to address some of the most important issues facing the world today. From health inequalities and the dangers of global warming, to the opportunities created by big data and molecular engineering, these issues are often too big to be tackled by individual academics or even departments.
Brief
Repeat clients for several data visualisation projects, the DSI approached us to create this beautiful brochure design detailing the formation and strategy of the institute from their inception to now.
Solution
We worked with the DSI to develop the concepts and narrative required to portray within the brochure. Working with the existing brand guidelines of the institute, we developed the brochure design visualising the core components and story of the institute.
We visualised the institute’s data using graphics and photography to portray the people and timeline of DSI in a compelling narrative for the brochure.
